Are you an experienced Physiotherapist seeking a new challenge in a supportive primary care environment? We are looking for a dynamic and motivated First Contact Physiotherapist to join our client's thriving practice in West Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work full-time in a permanent role, making a real difference to our local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Excellence:
  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage a diverse caseload of patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
  • Request and interpret investigations (such as x-rays and blood tests) and make appropriate referrals to support diagnosis and treatment.
  • Utilise your full clinical skillset, including independent prescribing and injection therapy (where qualified).
  • Support patients with complex needs, including those with mental health or psychosocial challenges, and refer to social prescribing services when appropriate.
  • Deliver tailored self-management programmes to empower patients, optimise physical activity, and promote independence.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to integrate MSK pathways and enhance patient care.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to colleagues within the practice and wider Primary Care Network (PCN).
  • Education & Development:
  • Deliver teaching and feedback to the clinical team regarding MSK care and referral pathways.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice to maintain and enhance your skills.

About You

  • HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapist.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-graduate physiotherapy experience, with at least 3 years in MSK assessment and treatment.
  • Previous NHS experience.
  • Experience in first-contact triage, including private sector exposure.
  • Previous work in a GP practice setting.
  • Familiarity with EMIS and SystmOne.
  • MSc-level study, injection therapy, and/or independent prescribing qualifications.
