Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a part-time physiotherapist to join St Richard's Hospice multis-disciplinary palliative care team. The role offers 22.5 hours per week (Tue–Thu), with in-person or virtual sessions and autonomous practice with team support.

You will provide holistic assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, with DBS clearance and access to a vehicle. Flexible working and family-friendly policies are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months' post-registration experience
• Core rotations in respiratory, neurology, musculoskeletal and community work
• Good knowledge of holistic rehabilitative palliative care

Job description

This physiotherapist post sits within the specialist multi-disciplinary palliative care team at St Richard's Hospice, providing rehabilitation and therapy across hospice and community services. The core of the work is holistic assessment and treatment of palliative care patients with complex needs, carried out as an autonomous practitioner with colleague support, in person or virtually including group sessions. The role is permanent and part-time at 22.5 hours a week over Tuesday to Thursday. Candidates need at least 18 months' post-registration experience and access to their own vehicle for work.
