Physics Teacher South Birmingham
170– 220 per day November 2026 Starts Flexible & Long–Term Opportunities
Are you a qualified Physics Teacher looking for a fresh teaching opportunity in South Birmingham after October half–term?
Aspire People is looking to connect with Physics specialists who are available from Monday 2 November, whether you're seeking flexible supply work, a consistent long–term assignment or a potential permanent position.
We support secondary schools throughout South Birmingham and are particularly interested in teachers based around Kings Heath, Moseley, Kings Norton, Selly Oak, Bournville and surrounding areas.
Physics is a specialist subject where strong teachers can make a significant difference, particularly for GCSE and A Level pupils preparing for examinations.
We recruit for daily supply, short–term cover, regular weekly bookings and long–term Physics teaching positions, alongside potential permanent opportunities.
Depending on your experience and the school's requirements, assignments may involve teaching general Science across KS3, delivering GCSE Physics and Combined Science at KS4, or teaching A Level Physics at KS5.
Long–term assignments may include lesson planning, marking, assessment, practical investigations and supporting pupils with examination preparation.
You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Physics subject knowledge and the confidence to deliver engaging lessons across the secondary age range.
We are particularly interested in teachers who can explain challenging scientific concepts clearly, develop pupils' problem–solving skills and maintain high standards of classroom behaviour.
Experience teaching GCSE Physics is particularly valuable, while the ability to deliver A Level Physics would be an advantage for suitable assignments.
We welcome applications from experienced Physics Teachers and Early Career Teachers.
We offer competitive daily rates of 170– 220, weekly pay and access to secondary teaching opportunities throughout South Birmingham.
Whether you're looking to reduce your commute, enjoy greater flexibility or secure a consistent teaching position, we'll work with you to identify assignments that match your availability and career goals.
Our secondary recruitment team will take your subject expertise, preferred locations and working arrangements into account when discussing suitable opportunities.
