Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Physician Associate for the Mental Health Urgent Care Department based at Basildon Hospital. The role involves supporting urgent mental health assessments and collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers and other staff to deliver comprehensive, person-centred care.

You will work under supervision with CPD opportunities and regular appraisal, contributing to clinical decision making and care planning in a dynamic urgent care

Formación

• Physician Associates based on the MHUCD at the Basildon site.
• Work flexibly with the clinical team and cover for colleagues during absences.
• Annual appraisal aligned to objectives and performance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality patient care under supervision of a consultant.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and assist in discharge summaries.
• Contribute to physical health and mental health assessments in emergencies.
• Record notes and provide guidance on investigations and management.
