Job summary

Amazon Web Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Physical SOC Analyst for the Strategic Security Design and Operations (SSDO) team. You will join the Incident Response Team (IRT) to monitor, triage, and respond to physical security events affecting AWS infrastructure, personnel, and assets.

This 24/7/365 role requires shift work, strong communication, and experience in access control, CCTV, and risk assessment. UK national security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations within a global corporate environment.
• Knowledge of existing and emerging security technologies.
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• Background in incident management, threat assessment or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Respond to physical security events affecting AWS infrastructure, assets and personnel.
• Monitor access control systems and CCTV, and coordinate security responses.
• Triage security incidents, write reports, and distribute notifications as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain security best practices.
