Job summary

Roc Search Europe Limited in Wakefield is seeking a PHP Developer to join its collaborative tech team on a hybrid basis. You'll develop and maintain PHP applications, build frontend features with JavaScript, and integrate APIs while working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

The role offers ownership, long-term growth, and the chance to influence a growing product suite; you should have strong PHP development experience with Laravel or Symfony, and familiarity with MySQL,

Qualifications

• Strong commercial PHP development experience.
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony or another PHP framework.
• JavaScript knowledge, ideally Vue.js.
• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB or similar databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP applications

• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues and implement improvements

• £40,000 - £43,500 salary
