Job summary

Harnham is looking for a PHP Developer to join a growing team in Birmingham, with 2 days a week in the office. You will work on building a modern PHP-based platform, contributing to greenfield projects and modernisation efforts.

You will develop features with PHP, Laravel and contemporary tech, integrate APIs, and focus on secure, maintainable code while collaborating across QA, business analysis and technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP development in modern tech stacks.
• Exposure to Laravel or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Experience building APIs and modern web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop features using PHP, Laravel and modern web tech.
• Contribute to greenfield projects and modernisation of existing systems.
• Build and integrate APIs with internal and third-party platforms.
• Develop responsive, user-focused interfaces and write clean, secure code.
• Collaborate with QA, BAs and stakeholders throughout delivery.
