Job summary

Harnham is seeking a PHP Developer to join a team delivering a major technology transformation. This largely greenfield programme offers the chance to build a modern in-house platform while evolving existing systems.

You will influence technical decisions, work with PHP, Laravel and modern web technologies, build and integrate APIs with internal and third‑party platforms, and collaborate with QA, business analysts and stakeholders to deliver secure, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Experience developing features with PHP and Laravel.
• Experience on greenfield applications and modernisation.
• Building and integrating APIs with internal/third-party platforms.
• Developing responsive, user-focused interfaces.
• Writing clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Root-cause analysis and robust issue resolution.
• Collaboration with QA, BAs and stakeholders throughout delivery.
• Participation in code reviews and continuous improvement.
• Advocacy for best practices in development, security, and architecture.
• Familiarity with Vue.js/Inertia.js and containerized environments.
