Job summary

Cooksmill in Bradford is seeking a talented Photographer and Videographer to join our on-site team. This full-time role sits in our Leeds Road warehouse, with a 3-month probation before permanent status. Salary dependant on experience.

You will plan, shoot, and edit product and lifestyle content for our B2B and B2C audiences, coordinate with marketing, manage lighting and equipment, and help grow our brand presence across YouTube and social media.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Photographer or Videographer.
• Food or product photography experience is advantageous.
• Experience with YouTube and social media.
• Proficient in photo and video editing software.
• Knowledge of video production equipment and techniques.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting and audio.

• Create lifestyle imagery for Cooksmill products.

Job description

Cooksmill is a rapidly growing business selling catering equipment mainly to a B2B customer base but also to B2C customers. We’re looking for a talented and creative Photographer and Videographer to join our team.

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. Permanent role after 3-month probation period. Salary dependant on experience.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5, with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, based in our warehouse on Leeds Road, Bradford, BD3.

Please note this is an onsite role due to secure network.

Candidates applying for this role must be available for an initial online interview with Zoom. Second interviews will be in person.

Duties

• Take pictures of new Cooksmill products.
• Edit the images to have a plain white background
• Create lifestyle images of Cooksmill products
• Plan, storyboard, shoot and edit engaging content for a variety of uses.
• Assist in developing creative ideas for video content.
• Operate and maintain video equipment and lighting.
• Plan and organise shooting schedules, locations, and equipment requirements.
• Work closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other relevant departments to align video content with overall brand messaging and strategy.
• Stay updated on industry trends, video production techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and creativity of video content.
• Must be a team player and be happy to answer the phone and intercom.

Skills Required

• Proven experience as a Photographer, Videographer or similar role.
• Experience in food or product photography would be an advantage but not essential.
• Experience with YouTube and social media.
• Proficient in photo and video editing software.
• Knowledge of various video production equipment and techniques.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and audio principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to turn concepts into visually appealing content.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating previous work in videography.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
