Job description

Full-time | Office-based with regular travel to venues

This is not a 9-5 role! Regular evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment

ThePlaceToBe are delighted to be working on a really exciting opportunity for a creative Videographer to join an ambitious, fast-growing consumer business operating across hospitality, food, drink and entertainment!

This is a role for someone who loves capturing atmosphere, energy and those moments that make people stop scrolling. Think standout food and drink, immersive experiences, vibrant venues and the people who bring a brand to life.

You’ll have the opportunity to create content across multiple brands, each with its own personality, and play a key role in how they show up across social media and wider marketing.

About the role...

This is a hands-on, highly creative role where you’ll be out and about capturing content, getting stuck into shoots and turning real‑life moments into engaging video and photography.

You’ll work closely with marketing and operational teams to bring campaigns, product launches, seasonal activity and key events to life. From short‑form video for Instagram Reels and Stories to photography for websites, CRM and PR, your work will help bring the customer experience to life before people even engage with the brand.

What you’ll be doing day to day...
  • Shoot high-quality video and photography across multiple locations, capturing everything from products and experiences to events and the people behind the brands
  • Create engaging, social‑first content that brings each brand’s atmosphere and personality to life
  • Edit short‑form video using music, pacing, captions and storytelling to create content people genuinely want to watch
  • Plan shoots around campaigns, launches, seasonal activity and key trading periods
  • Work closely with marketing and operational teams to spot opportunities and capture authentic, compelling moments
  • Build and maintain a strong library of visual assets for social media, websites, CRM, PR and wider campaigns
  • Keep up with emerging social trends, formats and creative ideas, bringing fresh thinking to every shoot
About you...

This role would suit a naturally creative Videographer & Photographer who loves being behind the camera but also understands what makes content work on social.

You’ll be confident capturing content in busy, live environments, comfortable working at pace and able to turn ideas into high-quality creative assets. You’ll enjoy variety, thrive on being out on location and want to create work that captures the feeling of actually being there.

What we’re looking for...
  • At least 2–3 years’ professional experience across videography and photography
  • Excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar
  • Experience creating engaging short‑form content for Instagram and other social platforms
  • A strong eye for composition, lighting, storytelling and visual detail
  • Confidence shooting in fast‑paced environments, ideally across hospitality, food, drink, lifestyle or entertainment
  • Great organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple shoots, deadlines and priorities
  • A proactive, creative approach and a genuine passion for culture, experiences and social‑first content

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Videographer who wants to create exciting, high‑energy content across a portfolio of consumer‑facing brands, with plenty of variety, creative freedom and the chance to see their work make a real impact.
