Job summary

Istituto Marangoni is seeking a Photo Studio Assistant Intern to support the Studio Manager and Programme Leader in running studio operations and creative projects in London. You will assist with photo shoots, equipment setup, file management, and on-set support to help deliver high-quality sessions.

You'll gain hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom while maintaining a clean, organized studio and a positive learning environment for students.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of photography and studio lighting.
• Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good teamwork and communication; willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the Studio Manager and Programme Leader in running studio operations and creative projects.
• Assist in preparation and execution of photo shoots.
• Maintain studio equipment and cleanliness; ensure safety.
• Provide on-set support: adjust lighting, position props, organize gear.
• Assist with material preparation for sessions and file organization.
• Transfer images and assist with basic editing/retouching as needed.
• Maintain archive of digital assets and backups; welcome students.
• Assist with events/workshops and studio bookings.
