Job summary

St Luke's Church Primary School in Tiptree is seeking a caring, committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help children flourish academically, socially and emotionally in a warm, inclusive environment.

In addition, the role includes duties as part of Read Write Inc (RWI) Phonics Intervention Tutor, supporting individual children's learning and wellbeing in phonics, working with the phonics lead to help every child feel known and able to succeed.

About the Role

As a Read Write Inc (RWI) Phonics Intervention Tutor, you will work closely with the phonics lead teacher and the wider staff team to support induvial children's learning, wellbeing and development in phonics. You will help create a calm, purposeful and joyful area where every child feels known, valued and able to succeed.

St Luke's Church Primary School was founded in 1863 to provide education according to the principles and practices of the Church of England.

Following the reorganisation of many Church of England schools in the 1950's, St Luke's became a controlled school. This means that some of the governing body is drawn from the foundation, representing the Church of England, and the rest is made up of County nominated and other lay people.
