Job summary

Tesco UK is hiring a Phone Shop Colleague to greet customers and provide friendly, natural service in-store. You’ll help customers choose mobile products, complete phone and contract setups, and support a wide range of tech questions while contributing to great store performance.

You’ll work flexible shifts with at least 12 hours per week guaranteed, in a diverse, inclusive team that values customer focus, good service, and teamwork across the store. Everyone’s Welcome.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.
• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.
• A positive, team-focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
