Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Sutton is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. The post holder will perform venepuncture to obtain blood samples and must follow GP/nurse referrals and practice guidelines, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.

You will be responsible for accurate labelling, confirmation of patient identity, timely dispatch of samples, and adherence to confidentiality, health and safety, and infection control policies across the practice environment.

Qualifications

• Perform venepuncture to obtain blood samples according to procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Organise workload and prioritise tasks in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient comfort and obtain consent for blood collection.
• Collect blood samples following training and procedures.
