Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist within Forth Valley Community Nursing Services as part of the CTAC team. The post involves working with General Practice and Community Nursing Teams and requires flexibility, good communication, and the ability to use your own initiative.

You will carry out delegated tasks daily, including phlebotomy and blood pressure monitoring. Training is provided and travel across the service area is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: good communication skills, able to work in a team and use own initiative.
• Willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
• IT skills desirable; training provided.
• PVG Scheme membership is required to work with vulnerable groups.

Responsibilities

• Carry out delegated work daily, including phlebotomy and blood pressure monitoring.
• Work closely with General Practice and Community Nursing Teams as part of CTAC.
• Be flexible and adaptable in a changing Primary Care environment.
