Job summary

New Spire Healthcare Clinic, Perth Scotland, is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our new service on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support patients and work closely with nurses to deliver compassionate care in a modern, welcoming environment.

The role requires NVQ level 2/3, experience in clinical/outpatient settings, phlebotomy skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. 37.5 hours per week, with shifts Mon-Sat.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy skills essential.
• Experience as HCA in clinical/outpatient/hospital/GP settings preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to infection prevention and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with care throughout their healthcare journey.
• Assist nurses and clinicians with assessments, treatments, and procedures.
• Label, handle, and prepare specimens for transport and testing.
• Maintain clean clinical rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Deliver patient-centred care with dignity, privacy and comfort.
