Job summary

NHS Forth Valley is seeking a Clinical Support Worker/Phlebotomist to join the Community Nursing Services. You will work with General Practice and Community Nursing teams, carrying out phlebotomy and chronic disease monitoring to support patient care.

The role requires good communication, flexibility and teamwork. Training will be provided, and you will be encouraged to learn new skills; travel across the service area is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability with own initiative.
• Willingness to learn new skills; IT literacy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out phlebotomy and chronic disease monitoring as part of delegated tasks.
• Work closely with General Practice and Community Nursing teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area as required.
