Job summary

Randox Health in Reading is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our clinic located in John Lewis, Broad Street. You will take blood samples from private and corporate clients, perform basic measurements, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with some evenings and weekends. You must have six months' phlebotomy experience, a valid UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. DBS check and Hepatitis B vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience with phlebotomy.
• Certificate or equivalent phlebotomy training.
• Experience in private healthcare setting.
• Experience in customer service.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Flexible to evenings and weekends.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B or willingness to obtain.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Take blood samples from private and corporate clients.
• Conduct client appointments including blood/urine sampling and measurements.
• Enter data into Patient Information Systems (PIS).
• Maintain accurate records in PIS and upload documentation.
• Represent Randox Health professionally at offsite events.
• Upsell and cross-sell at the private health clinic.
• Drive sales and exceed targets.
• Help with reception and front-of-house duties.
• Complete forms, labeling, and lab request documentation.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy across software systems.
