Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1310 W Bloomfield Rd, Bloomington, IN. You will perform skilled blood collections and provide friendly, professional service in a patient-centered environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a phlebotomy certification or training, and a willingness to travel to additional sites. PST incentives may apply; full benefits are available. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4:30pm, with overtime and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
