Bourn Surgery is looking for a confident and experienced HCA/phlebotomist to support and work alongside our dedicated nursing team. We are a rural, dispensing practice serving just over 6,800 patients in the beautiful village of Bourn.
17.5 hours per week, preferably on Mondays and Thursdays, from 8:15 am to 6:00 pm, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
We are a rural, dispensing practice with over 6,800 patients in Bourn. We are a teaching practice with allied clinicians including a clinical pharmacist, paramedic, and first contact physiotherapist. Our nursing team includes a lead nurse, two part-time practice nurses, and an HCA supporting the team.
Support the practice nursing and administrative teams in delivering clinical and administrative services, working as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide care within their scope of practice to the patient population.
The Healthcare Assistant will assist clinical staff in treatment, preventative care, health promotion, and patient education, as well as supporting the administrative team as needed.
