Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking experienced Phlebotomists and HCAs with phlebotomy experience for shifts in Luton. The role involves performing POCT checks, blood draws, and monitoring participant wellbeing, with shifts 8:00am–7:30pm Monday to Sunday.

Hourly pay ranges from £18.00 to £25.78, with additional benefits and weekly pay. A Certificate in Phlebotomy and UK Right to Work are required. Pulse will assign a dedicated consultant to support you.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Phlebotomy.
• Minimum one year's active experience drawing blood.
• Experience taking patient observations.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
• Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
• Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.
