Job summary

Pulse Nursing is seeking experienced Phlebotomists and HCAs with phlebotomy experience to join our team across the Thames Valley, with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am – 7:30pm). The role offers competitive hourly pay for different days and weekends, plus weekly pay and support from a Pulse consultant.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate in Phlebotomy and have at least one year of blood draw experience, plus strong patient observation and care skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Phlebotomy.
• Minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood.
• Experience taking patient observations.
• Excellent patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
• Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
• Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.
