Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join their Phlebotomy Team. The role involves performing blood specimen collections in both community and hospital settings. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to manage a demanding physical workload. A flexible working pattern is required across a 7-day rota, with shifts covering mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. We have an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist to join our friendly and supportive Phlebotomy Team.
Do you have excellent communication skills, hand-to-eye coordination, flexibility, and patient focus? Basic computer skills are also required.
This is a demanding physical role involving standing, bending, walking, and pushing phlebotomy trolleys during shifts.
Since you will be working both in the community and hospital settings, access to a car or alternative transportation is essential.
Working flexibly over a 7-day rota, shifts will cover early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
