Job summary

Randox Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for our Kingston clinic. You will collect blood and urine samples, take health measurements, and enter data into our patient information system.

The role requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and vaccination against Hepatitis B or willingness to get vaccinated after interview. Responsibilities

• Represent Randox Health professionally at offsite events and appointments.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at the private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Complete forms, specimen labelling and lab order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage multiple software systems.

Phlebotomist - Kingston - (Job Ref: 26/PPKG

Main Location

Unit G10, Bentall Centre, Wood Street, Kingston upon Thames, London, England, KT1 1TP. This role will cover the following Randox Health Clinics within Cluster 2: Clinics include: Kingston, Chiswick, Richmond, Fulham, and Wimbledon.

Contract Offered

Full-time, permanent. Part-time and reduced hours options may be available.

Working Hours / Shifts

4 on 4 off shift patten. Start and finish times are 8.40am to 8.40pm each day and 9am to 8pm on a Thursday. Other shift patterns and part-time hours may be considered.

For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage.

In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire.

This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
• Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
• Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
• Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
• Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
• Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
• Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
• Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks.

Essential criteria

• Confident using IT programmes.
• Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month.
• Strong communication skills.
• Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Desirable

• Experience in a private healthcare setting.
• Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
• Experience in customer service.
• 6 months experience in Phlebotomy.
• Sales / Retail experience.
