Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is expanding our Phlebotomy Service and seeking dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills to join the team in Preston. The role involves frontline care, venepuncture, and working within a dedicated team to support hospital inpatients, outpatients and GP patients.

You will be required to work a 7-day rota including weekends and bank holidays. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, with a commitment to delivering high

Qualifications

• Experience in dealing with patients and staff in hospital environments or Blood Test Clinics is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Flexibility to work seven days a week on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Job overview

Due to the expansion of our busy service we are looking for a dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills to join our Phlebotomy Service. You will work within a dedicated team who provide front line care to hospital inpatients, outpatients & GP patients.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to working as the Phlebotomy service is provided 7 days a week operated on a rota basis. You must be willing to work weekends and bank holidays. Excellent communication and organisational skills are integral to the post.
