Job summary

The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to cover blood collection at Hillingdon Hospital and the Mount Vernon site. The role involves venepuncture and capillary sampling, with samples labelled and dispatched for testing.

This position operates on a 37.5-hour rota, including weekdays, weekends and some bank holidays. Applicants must hold a Certificate of Competence in Phlebotomy and have venepuncture experience in a busy department; two posts are available.

• Knowledge of infection control and health and safety in venepuncture.

Job description

Nice to have

• NVQ or other recognised qualification in a related area
• Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting
