Job summary

Qualifications

• GPhC registration required.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Knowledge of SystmOne software.
• Experience in prison or secured services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily medicines management, including administering medication and advising on drug-related queries.
• Support nursing staff with medication queries and prescription checks.
• Perform medicines reconciliation for new admissions to the centre.
• Manage medication stock: check, order, and remove items per policy.
• Maintain resident medication records using electronic systems.
• Advise residents on medication adherence, minor ailments, and prescribed treatments.
