Job summary

Bupa is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for the Procurement and Distribution team at Cromwell Hospital, London. You will support stock delivery to wards and theatres, manage purchasing orders, and ensure accurate stock rotation and reporting.

Responsibilities include PO transmission, supplier coordination, stock checks, and adherence to CH SOPs. A UK pharmacy qualification and experience are essential for this permanent, full-time role.

Qualifications

NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician (essential)
Registered Pharmacy Technician GPhC (essential)
Proven experience of pharmacy purchasing (essential)
Pyxis ES (essential)

Responsibilities

Assist with responsive delivery of pharmacy fluid stocks to wards and departments.
Raise and transmit pharmacy purchase orders to suppliers.
Check deliveries from suppliers and distribute to destinations.
Store stock under correct conditions and rotate stock per SOPs.
Carry out delivery note, invoice and credit reconciliation.
Use the Ascribe system to maintain price information.
Complete weekly/monthly purchasing reports.
Follow up out-of-stock information with wholesalers/manufacturers.
