Penrose Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician/Dispenser to support safe, timely medication services across our GP practices. You will collaborate with Pharmacists, GPs, and the clinical team to manage prescriptions, monitor medications, and assist audits, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dispenser in GP Practice or busy community pharmacy OR registered Pharmacy Technician
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear, confident communication and collaborative approach
• Willingness to adapt, solve problems and work with MDT

Responsibilities

• Managing prescription workflows – safe, smooth, on time.
• Monitoring medications – including basic checks for patient safety.
• Handling prescription queries – resolving issues with clear communication.
• Liaising with pharmacies and hospitals to ensure coordinated care.
• Processing clinical letters – turning paperwork into action.
• Supporting audits and medicines optimisation to reduce waste.
• Contributing to cost-effective prescribing practices.
• Managing stock of emergency drugs.
• Working with the wider MDT – teamwork across disciplines.
