Job summary

Pharmacerge on Wimpole Street in London is recruiting Pharmacy Technicians to help deliver a high‑quality private pharmacy service. In this in‑person role you will dispense medications accurately, support clinicians, and maintain robust records in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification and is registered with the GPhC. You must have excellent attention to detail and strong communication, with Saturday work required; full-time roles are

Qualifications

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and SOPs.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail for accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
  • Display outstanding communication and patient-centric service.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately against prescriptions following SOPs and UK regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers within your scope of practice.
  • Utilise NVQ3 training to support the team and train dispensary staff.
  • Maintain records and assist with stock control including ordering and expiry checks.
  • Support safety and quality assurance initiatives and report discrepancies.

As a Pharmacy Technician at Pharmacierge, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Please Note: Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Work Arrangements

We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time in-person roles. Please note that remote work is not available at this time.

  • Full-time role involves working 40 hours per week, including every Saturday 09:00am - 5:00pm
  • Part-time roles require a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. Specific working patterns can be discussed during the application process, only non-negotiable is that Saturdays will be required whether full or part time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications accurately against prescriptions, following pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non-clinical queries within your scope of practice.
  • Apply the skills and knowledge gained through your NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician training to actively support the wider Pharmacierge team. This includes contributing to the training and development of dispensary and support staff, while helping to uphold the high standards of care and service that Pharmacierge is known for.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
  • Support safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns related to medication safety.

To be considered for the Pharmacy Technician role at Pharmacierge, you MUST have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council)
  • Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with theGeneral Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
    • Candidates who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will also be considered
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and apatient-centric approach to service delivery
