Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Medicines Optimisation Team across the Leeds Sexual Health Service. This 0.4 WTE permanent role supports multiple sites, focusing on safe, effective and cost-efficient medicines use and governance.

Experience in sexual health is not essential; training will be provided. The role offers autonomous working and collaboration with clinicians and service managers to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Registration as a UK Pharmacy Technician (GPhC or eligible)
• Experience in medicines governance and audits is desirable
• Ability to work autonomously and in a MDT setting

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support across medicines optimisation and governance
• Manage stock, audits and cold chain monitoring
• Support SOP development and incident monitoring
• Assist with PGD support and medicines pathways implementation
