Job summary

HCA UK is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join The Wilmslow Hospital's Pharmacy team in Manchester. You will support comprehensive pharmacy services across dispensary, procurement, stock control and ward top-up duties, reporting to the Senior Pharmacy Technician.

With GPhC registration and the required NVQ/BTEC qualifications, you will work in a small, autonomous team within a private healthcare setting that values patient care and professional development.

Qualifications

• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualification with underpinning knowledge.
• Accredited Checking Technician experience within a pharmacy as a qualified technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a comprehensive pharmacy service across dispensary, procurement, stock control, medicines distribution and ward top-up services.
• Contribute to day-to-day running of the Pharmacy and report to the Senior Pharmacy Technician with support from Lead Pharmacy Technician.
• Operate within a small hospital pharmacy team with autonomy and accountability.
