Job overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable, and conscientious registered Pharmacy Technician with ACT to join our team.

Our department is committed to the extended role of Technicians, encouraging skill development across all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice in a busy environment.

Pharmacy Technicians are involved in Medicines Management Systems integrated with electronic IT systems, including bedside clinical services, PODs, medicines reconciliation, and one-stop dispensing.

Main duties of the job

Provide support, training, management, and guidance to staff under the supervision of a senior team member.

Dispense, supply, and accurately check medicines for:

• Stock medicines
• Inpatient and outpatient medicines
• Clinical trial medicines

Medicines Management activities include:

• Patient counselling
• Medicine reconciliation
• Discharge medicines service
