Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Tamworth is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team and progress toward becoming a registered Pharmacy Technician. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while earning a wage and gaining industry-specific competence.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English required.
• Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-level) offered during the program.
• On successful completion, eligibility to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff members.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
