Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technicians for Worcester Royal Hospital. The role supports patient care by ensuring medicines are available and dispensed appropriately, with a two-year day-release training leading to a Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Skills and Services.

You will work in an acute hospital setting within multidisciplinary teams, with progressive responsibilities and college study days. Interviews commence 26.10.26.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths, English and Science at C or above (or UK ENIC equivalency).
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties and travel to college weekly.
• Experience in customer service or public-facing roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete the 2-year training program to achieve Level 3 Pharmacy Skills and Services qualification.
• Attend college study days and complete coursework on deadlines.
• Maintain a portfolio of evidence and participate in appraisals.
• Work in ward-based Medicines Management and Medicines Histories.
• Support dispensing, stock management and ward-based services under supervision.
