Job summary

McKeevers Chemists in Belfast is offering a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice (Level 3) on a full-time basis. You will learn on the job, gain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification, and work towards professional registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

Delivered in partnership with Belfast Met, this two-year programme combines college learning with hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy, with mentoring and opportunities for long-term progression within the team.

Qualifications

• Two-year, full-time Pharmacy Services Level 3 apprenticeship delivered in partnership with Belfast Met.
• On-the-job learning with hands-on experience to develop professional behaviours and knowledge.
• Successful completion leads to a Level 3 qualification and eligibility for registration as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work within a community pharmacy as part of the apprenticeship pathway.
• Undergo weekday day-release learning at college while employed, minimum 21 hours per week.
• Receive mentoring to build patient care, dispensing skills and professional standards.
