Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Rowley Regis invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to support safe medicine supply and work closely with pharmacists. This role is ideal for someone aiming to become a registered Pharmacy Technician through a Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will gain hands-on experience in dispensing, stock control, and patient advice, with training delivered blended with your job and a pathway to registration with the GPhC.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English (desirable) or equivalent.
• Training to be provided via Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
• Future prospects include potential for full-time employment on successful completion.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
