Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Ilford is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team. The role aims to develop you into a registered Pharmacy Technician with hands-on experience under supervision.

You will support medicines management, customer service, and day-to-day pharmacy operations while completing the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship. Applicants should have a dispensing qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (or 4-9) in Maths and English desired
• Maths/English Level 2 or equivalent; tests may be required to determine suitability
• Must have pharmacy assistant or dispenser qualification

Responsibilities

• Manage, order, receive and supply medicines safely.
• Provide patient advice on prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines.
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations, stock control and governance.
• Supervise and support trainee staff as you progress.
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintain high standards through audits and feedback
