skills4group is recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Altrincham to join a busy pharmacy team and develop the skills needed to become a registered Pharmacy Technician. The apprenticeship offers blended learning and on-the-job training, with wage dependent on age and experience.

The role supports safe medicine supply, patient advice, and day-to-day pharmacy operations, with potential for full-time employment on completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C / 4-9) or equivalent.
• Interest in pharmacy and healthcare.
• Experience in pharmacy industry or similar.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
