Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy team. You will support safe, effective and lawful supply of medicines and work with pharmacists to progress toward registration with the GPhC.

The role includes training via a Level 3 apprenticeship and blended learning, with duties spanning dispensing, patient advice and governance within a fast-paced environment. We welcome applicants with L2 qualification or prior pharmacy experience, and a commitment to complete the

Qualifications

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English.
Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Level 3.
On successful completion, eligible to register with the GPhC.
Training delivered through a blended learning approach alongside your job.
We are looking for somebody already L2 qualified or with previous pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff.
Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
