Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice to join a busy pharmacy team in Rugby. The role offers a clear path to become a registered Pharmacy Technician and progress within pharmacy.

As an apprentice you will train on the Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3, gain hands-on experience, and have the opportunity for full-time employment on successful completion. Strong attention to detail and patient safety are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• Maths and English Level 2 qualifications or tests will determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately.
• Providing person-centred advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
• Supporting day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance.
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role.
• Assisting with training and mentoring new staff.
• Maintaining high standards through auditing, evaluating services and responding to feedback.
