We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join ourPharmacyteam atHMP Bure, acategory C men'sPrison located inBadersfield, Norwich.

In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

Hours

Monday - Friday: 07:30 - 17:30

Saturday - Sunday: 08:30 - 17:30

Salary

This position isfull time,you’ll receive an annual salary up to £32,346per annum- depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

What you'll be doing

As aPharmacy Technician,your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.
  • Work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison service’s needs.
  • Deliver the highest standard of care to clients in line with National Guidelines.

Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
  • Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
