Job summary

Intelligent Prescribing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our small, supportive team managed by pharmacists and technicians. You will work alongside practice pharmacists within a GP practice, focusing on medicines optimisation and patient care.

The role involves medication reconciliation, repeat dispensing support, handling shortages and recalls, and contributing to in-house audits. UK registration and DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure is required.
• UK registration as a Pharmacy Technician is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Medication reconciliation of clinical letters and hospital discharges.
• Support the repeat dispensing process.
• Manage medication shortages and recalls.
• Conduct in-house audits (CQC/QOF/Medi­cines Optimisation).
• Support shared care and act as a link for stakeholders including community pharmacies and secondary care.

As a pharmacy technician, you will be a key part of our team working alongside our practice pharmacists with in a GP practice.
Main duties of the job
The right candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the pharmacy team, wider healthcare team, patients and the public, whilst ensuring and maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
