Job summary

Athona Limited in Bishop’s Stortford is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a specialist service focused on medicinal cannabis and CBPMs. You will work with pharmacists and the clinical and dispensary teams to ensure safe, compliant supply of medicines on-site near Stansted Airport.

The role requires pharmacy qualifications and registration, experience in a regulated medicines environment, and strong attention to detail. Hours are a minimum of four days per week with hourly pay of £20.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate preparation, processing and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Check prescriptions and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with the safe handling, storage and supply of medicinal products.
• Maintain accurate records in line with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and support medicine inventory management.
• Liaise with pharmacists and dispensary colleagues to resolve operational queries.

Currently we have an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians to join a specialist service focused on medicinal cannabis and cannabis-based medicinal products (CBPMs). You will work alongside pharmacists and the wider clinical and dispensary teams to support the safe, efficient and compliant supply of medicines. This is an on-site opportunity based in Bishop’s Stortford, near Stansted Airport.

Salary: £20 per hour, experience dependant

Your key responsibilities will be;
