Job summary

Athona Limited is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a specialist service focused on medicinal cannabis and cannabis-based medicinal products (CBPMs). This is an on-site role based in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, near Stansted Airport.

You will collaborate with pharmacists and the dispensary team to ensure safe, compliant supply of medicines. Salary is £20 per hour, experience dependent, with a minimum of four days per week.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy qualifications and registration appropriate to the role.
• Experience in a pharmacy, dispensary or regulated medicines environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the accurate preparation, processing and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Check prescriptions and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with the safe handling, storage and supply of medicinal products.
• Maintain accurate records in line with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and support medicine inventory management.
• Liaise with pharmacists and dispensary colleagues to resolve operational queries.

You will work alongside pharmacists and the wider clinical and dispensary teams to support the safe, efficient and compliant supply of medicines. This is an on-site opportunity based in Bishop's Stortford, near Stansted Airport.
