Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy licensed unit within the Pharmacy Department at NPTH, providing pharmaceuticals to patients across Wales and England.

Previous pharmacy experience is preferred; NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services will be pursued following appointment. The post is full-time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE A–C in Maths and English
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Technical Services required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist in storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals
• Receipt of stock and distribution of pre-packed/over-labelled medicines
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies
