Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is hiring a Pharmacy Warehouse Operative to support the supply of pharmaceuticals and distribution from the RDPC to external customers. The role involves processing orders, stock checks, and ensuring licence compliance with MHRA GDP standards.

You will handle receipts, packing, and delivery, participate in staff training, and help maintain stock in line with GDP requirements.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent.
• Willingness to undertake in-house and Trust training essential for the post.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to deliver the supply of pharmaceuticals within PHU.
• Carry out receipt and distribution of wholesaling activities from the RDPC to external customers.
• Maintain GDP and Controlled Drug licence standards.
• Follow GDP and GDP-related SOPs and MHRA inspections.
• Receive, check, and pick pharmaceutical stock; assist with stock control and storage.
• Create picking lists and ensure timely delivery to wards and departments.
