Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join the busy community pharmacy team in Cumbria. You will learn on the job while working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, gaining hands-on experience in prescription counter services and customer care.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent; Maths/English desired but not essential.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 apprenticeship training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
