Job summary

Hull, HU9 is seeking a friendly and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn, working toward a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided; you will support customers, assist with prescriptions, manage stock, and learn pharmacy systems in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desirable, but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
• If Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications are not held, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
