Job summary

skills4group is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice in Harpenden, Hertfordshire to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support day-to-day operations, assist customers, and begin a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support.

You will gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment, with no prior pharmacy experience required. The apprenticeship typically lasts around 15 months and leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C (Maths and English desirable) or equivalent.
• Maths/English Level 2 tests may be required for suitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prescription counter services and customer queries.
• Handle stock rotation, replenishment, and record keeping.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Deliver high-quality customer service as part of a team.
